Fifteen years ago, I packed up my life in Colorado (where I spent my days as a lead graphic designer at a marketing firm and my weekends snowboarding) and headed to Texas. Austin quickly became home, not just for its creative pulse but for the space it gave me to grow as both an artist and a storyteller.
My foundation started with a BA in Graphic Design and Photography from Mississippi State University, followed by studies in Motion Graphics at ACC. That mix of formal training and hands-on exploration shaped the way I see design: part discipline, part intuition.
For the past decade, I’ve brought that perspective to my role as Art Director and Motion Designer at Hack Studios. There, I’ve had the privilege of leading projects for brands like HBO, SXSW, Bridgestone, Budweiser, Sesame Street, Sundance TV, WE TV, and Geico. Each project has sharpened my eye and broadened my understanding of how design and storytelling connect... across industries, audiences, and platforms.
But at the core, I’ve always been driven by the same thing: finding the most creative and effective way to express an idea. My style blends the clarity of Swiss grids, the boldness of Bauhaus, and just a hint of organic chaos... because I believe the best stories live where structure meets surprise.
Today, whether I’m designing a brand system, directing a campaign, or producing cultural content, I see my role as more than creating visuals. I build ecosystems... worlds where ideas aren’t just seen, but felt.
CREATING IMPACTFUL LONG-LASTING RECOGNIZABLE DESIGN... & EFFECTIVELY EXPRESSING IDEAS WHILE HAVING THE MOST FUN POSSIBLE
